		<description>
kollektiv iиterиatioиal totem&#38;nbsp;is an association and an initiative by Kay Zhang, Nuriia Khasenova and Léo Collin. Trained as classical and contemporary musicians, they interpret chamber music and orchestral repertoire composed by contemporary composers. They transcribe, arrange, and enrich the works with visual elements and a narrative structure, making the scores more accessible to non-specialist audiences.

In their SHOW, they create immersive musical experiences that blend sound, visuals, and storytelling.
Through their WORKSHOPS, they spend fews days collaborating with a guest artist (composer or sound/visual artist). Each collaboration leads to a unique and compelling outcome.

They create their own music theatre and performance works, including:&#38;nbsp;BALEEN / MEDUSEN / CORALS/ PLANKTON /&#38;nbsp;For these projects, they collaborate with various artists, including sound engineer Leandro Gianini; software developer Dalius Singer; costume and stage designer Mariana Grünig Vieira; object designer Eric Larrieux; instrument designer and sound artist Kaspar König; composer and performer Cimon Finix; lighting designer Viktoras Žemeckas; architect and video game designer Adrian Galeazzi and singer and organizer Meret Roth.

They have performed at Volksbühne Berlin, Gare du Nord (Basel), Dampfzentrale (Bern), Gessnerallee, Tonhalle, Das Institut, Walcheturm, and Hyperlokal (Zürich), as well as Monash University (Melbourne), Potocki Paterson Art Gallery (Wellington), the Maritime Museum (Hong Kong), L’Abri (Geneva), and La Voirie (Bienne).

		<description>Schaufenster: The Listening Protocol
kollektiv iиterиatioиal totem was invited to develop a new work for the sonic architecture «SCHAUFENSTER» and its eponymous project series by Dimitri de Perrot / Studio DdP.
«SCHAUFENSTER #3: The Listening Protocol» is a sound-based performance for three performers inside an multi-channel transducer system — or, more simply, three people trying to have group therapy sessions.
«The Listening Protocol» transforms the «SCHAUFENSTER» structure into a speculative head: a resonant skull in which voice, machine noise, and subconscious thought attempt to understand each other. Through controlled vibrations, text fragments, and neural sound modulations, the performers enact an unlicensed therapy of listening to their own minds. Structured in different sessions — the piece explores the practice of radical honesty, the fiction of care, and the sonic materiality of thinking.The audience encounters the box as an interface — a surface through which thoughts, impulses, and unconscious leaks become faintly audible. Whilst the audience perceive the full score — the performers get only traces and tremors of their minds that remain out of reach. Speech becomes frequency, frequency becomes a kind of thought, and somewhere between them, one forgets who was supposed to be the therapist.
 Composition, performance and concept:&#38;nbsp;
Kay Zhang / Nuriia Khasenova / Léo Collin&#38;nbsp;

		<description>PLANKTON&#38;nbsp;SYNOPSIS&#38;nbsp;
La pièce aborde des thèmes comme l’identité, la solitude, l'intégrité, la marginalité et le rôle de l'artiste dans le monde d'aujourd'hui.ENG Plankton tells the story of four different people from different corners of the world who have something in common: they have all decided to withdraw from society to live alone. Plankton explores the stories of those who have chosen to leave cities and industry behind to live in the midst of nature. The distance these characters maintain from society makes us reflect on its current structures and rethink our connection to the natural world. The play addresses themes such as identity, loneliness, integrity, marginality and the role of the artist in today's world.

		<description>Detalkshow with Mélia Roger 4-5 -6&#38;nbsp; June 2024Workshop sound field recording&#38;nbsp;Mélia Roger is a sound designer for film and art installation. She has a classical music background and owns a Master Degree in sound engineering (ENS Louis-Lumière, Paris, France). She spent her last year of Master in the Transdisciplinary Studies Program at ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts, Switzerland), where she developed an artistic approach of sound, working with voice and field recordings. She is now living between Paris and Zurich, working for post-production film and her own artistic works.

We spent 3 days with Mélia to recognize and diffenciate one from another bird sounds. We did various exercises for example, walking with blind fold, make a resonance with our instruments with the environment i.e the forest, &#38;nbsp;imagine the sound of the past, to sooth the soundscape on the monoculture field, attunement exercise, workshop of microphones and field recording equipment.

"See the Whale!" is a monodrama for spoken voice, trumpet, saxophone, flute, double bass, and percussion. It is a collage of texts about people and whales - inspired by well-known stories such as Jonah and the Whale, Pinocchio, or Moby Dick - and is both a fictional story and a philosophical text. If you want to see whales, you have to look for signs. To practice listening and thus increase the chances of a whale sighting, there is a varied and exciting program on board. Our international crew will entertain you with live music, various shows, scientific explanations, and much more. For the whole family!Language of the performance : German

		<description>Detalk show withtracy september&#38;nbsp;
Voice- rest - improvisation - making an album - podcast&#38;nbsp;
3- 4- 5th of October 2023at MANEGG Zürich
 Over 3 days with musician and dj tracy september, an exploration of feelings/thoughts/experiences/memories/dreams/futurisms of what ‘the pressure to produce’. How the feeling of perpetually chasing time affects the psyche, the body, the spirit and the relations(hips) around us. What does it do to how we relate to our environment/s, our various communities and ourselves. How sustainable is this way of being? Are there people who thrive in this context? If so, how do they do it? What systems do each of us have in place to sustain ourselves on this hamster wheel? Is this something I’m imagining or experiencing alone or do others feel it too? How has this feeling existed in the past and what can it be in the future? What are the possibilities?

We did a workshop about how to rest our bodies and to take this time to land and come together and to find ways for us to manage ourselves in a healthier way.
We shared experienced, good music, and enjoy to be together and&#38;nbsp;#how to chill the f*** out.&#38;nbsp;

		<description>Electric unconscious&#38;nbsp;
We commissioned the composer Charles Quevillon to write us a new work.&#38;nbsp;

Staged Concert, 55’, 2023Performance for electric guitar, flute, alto saxophone, mini-fridge and electronics.
Electric Unconscious is an alchemical process powered by the physicality of performers and the amplification of their sound and breath. The music rubs together opposing conceptsand emotions: sacredand profane, corny andraw, fear and bliss. In these charged-up liminal and kaleidoscopic zones, a refrigerator is transformed into the archetype of energy.
